The central treasury division\u2019s contribution to headline earnings for the year under review amounted to R111 million (2014: R83 million). The increase resulted mainly from an increase in interest received due to higher cash balances and interest rates compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n

Net corporate costs amounted to R52 million (2014: R134 million) and were largely impacted by the receipt of an after-tax facilitation and underwriting fee of R99 million from Mediclinic, relating to its acquisition of a 29.9% interest in Spire Healthcare Plc and the concomitant rights offer in the current year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
