Remgro Limited has decided to act proactively in addressing unethical behaviour, theft, fraud or related activity and has thus joined forces with KPMG to fight such practices.

The Remgro Ethics Hotline, independently operated by KPMG, has been established with the aim to enhance an honest work ethic and simultaneously provide employees, clients, shareholders and the public with a mechanism to bring any unethical business practices to the attention of management.

The hotline serves as an independent conduit between management, employees and stakeholders, and all information is treated confidentially and the anonymity of the complainant is protected. The hotline operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A regular analysis of the calls is done, and independent investigations will be launched where necessary.

operator:

Who was involved doing what?
What has happened?
How is it done and how often is it done?
Where is it done – exact location or place?
When was the incident observed ‐ dates and times?
Value involved – estimated monetary value?

A reference number is given ‐ this is confidential and to be used by the complainant for follow‐up at a later date to add additional information to the original report or to receive feedback on the matter reported, if requested.
